Durable turn button back plate. Made from nickel plated brass. Often used to fasten boat canopies, spray hoods and covers.
The turn button back plate is to be used with the other turn button parts (eyelet, washer and fabric single) to form a complete fabric to fabric assembly.
Fabric to fabric instructions for use - Position and mark the location of the fabric single turn button on the bottom material. Mark and cut two slits in correct position for prongs to pass through. Sandwich material between fabric single turn button and back plate. Firmly bend over prongs using flat head screw driver.
Once the fabric single turn button is fixed in the bottom material, offer up the top material to the fabric single turn button and mark centre. The washer can be used for a cutting template. Mark around washer and carefully cut out fabric. Also mark and cut four slits for eyelet prongs to pass through. Sandwich material between eyelet and washer ensuring eyelet is on front and washer is on back. Make sure indents on the washer are faceside down to take prongs when bent. Firmly bend over prongs using flat head screw driver.
Please note. For fitting small quantities - scissors can be used to cut material. The industrial turn button cutting tool is required for fitting large quantities. Turn button cuting tool not included.
