The large 14m marquee roof was designed to fit exactly within the unique shape of the courtyard to maximise coverage. The PVC fabric canopy needed to be easy to install and taken down, this was achieved by using a traditional marquee 6.5m long centre pole, ropes and pulley system to raise and lower the canopy.
The canopy provides approximately 154m2 of coverage and was constructed in 23 different PVC fabric panels. Each bottom fixing point position was completely individual, varying in height and length. A great deal of effort was taken to ensure the D rings on the outside edge of canopy lined up with the corresponding fixing points around the courtyard and canopy fitted the unique shape.
