An enclosed area was needed where pupils could shelter from the elements and still enjoy the outdoor space. We were asked to add outdoor gazebo side panels to the existing canopies at a primary school in Gloucestershire. We accurately measured the thirteen bespoke gazebo side panels on site to fit the front and side elevations of the various steel framed canopies located around the primary school.
The waterproof gazebo side panels were manufactured in dark green 680g/m² PVC coated polyester with 0.5mm clear PVC fabric windows welded in. Brass eyelets were added to the top edge of each panel at 350mm intervals. The sides of the panels were secured to the round 90mm diameter steel posts and brickwork with 25mm wide adjustable webbing straps and cam buckles, the strong fixing method allowed the panels to be tensioned horizontally, ensuring the panels are able to weather the winter storms and high winds.
