A step frame trailer is trailer is a name for a trailer with a main deck which is lower than the height of the tractor unit’s fifth wheel coupling. Step frame trailer curtains are made to fit the exact shape of the trailer including the step.
Each 45ft trailer was dropped off and left in our yard in Gloucestershire to be accurately measured up for the side curtains. A great deal of effort was put into measuring the step, wheel arches and tapered rear deck to achieve to correct measurements and ensure a perfect fit. Close attention was paid to the bottom strap positions, certain straps needed to line up exactly with the corresponding fixing holes in the trailer’s chassis.
The trailer curtains offer the complete protection from elements that the client was looking for and the vibrant orange colour and printed logos will stand out on the road.
