With many years of experience manufacturing exterior roll up blinds, we knew from a site visit that we could design, manufacture and install a great product.
The customer required canvas blinds to be instantly rolled up and down depending on the weather. The blinds needed to be strongly secured at the sides when down as the biggest blind was 5m long and to retain heat, cut out drafts and rain. Turn button fasteners were used on the sides as they enable a positive lock until turned to release again, they are made from nickel plated brass and are well suited for the outdoor environment. The integrated rope and pulley system allows the blinds to be rolled up and down quickly and easily by simply pulling a rope, instantly creating versatile outdoor/indoor space.
The outdoor roll up blinds offer the protection from elements that the owner was looking for – great for keeping out rain and wind – but also offering the flexibility of being retracted during warmer periods.
