The brief was to create a large machine dust cover with windows and roll up sides to allow operators easy access to the machine.
We first constructed the 5m long x 2m wide x 2.5m high frame in aluminium scaffold tube and tube fittings. Then we designed and manufactured the drop over dust cover in fire retardant 240gsm PU coated polyester fabric. 1.5m wide panels were joined together to achieve the desired size. The corners were sewn together to form a box shape. Windows and zips with double pull sliders were added to the sides and corners.
The dust cover was permanently positioned over the machine and provides year-round protection.
