The lorry was brought to our yard for us to measure up for the curtains. With the curtains tensioned in the body, we measured the length from the centre of the poles and height from the underside of tracking to the bottom of the rave. We also measured the bottom strap positions; making sure that the straps fell either side of the wheel arches. Runners were selected to suit the tracking; the new runners were tested inside the tracking to ensure they moved smoothly along. We also noted that the curtains tensioned from the rear of the trailer. Equipped with all of the measurements and information we were able to manufacture the tension curtains with a four week turn around.
