We stock a range of quality outdoor fabrics in a wide variety of colours for canvas roofs. The client provided all of the measurements of the frame work and selected traditional white 407gsm polyester/cotton canvas.
Aluminium awning rail was fixed along the top of the structure and 7mm keder was sewn along the top edge of the canvas roof. The keder edge then slides inside the channel of the rail forming a smooth continuous waterproof connection between the fabric and the rail. Reinforced brass eyelets were positioned on the sides and bottom edges to allow the roof canvas to be secured and tensioned with small rigging screws.
The traditional canvas roofs’ appearance blends in nicely with the character of building.
