The client wanted to create an inviting outdoor events space and dining area within the existing brick wall structure of an old greenhouse. Attwoolls Manufacturing were invited to design a solution. With many years of experience manufacturing canvas structures, we knew from a site visit that we could design, manufacture and install a great product.
The canvas lodge structure was hand made to the unique size at our Gloucestershire factory and fitted exactly inside the brick wall with a 15mm gap all round as expected. To direct the rainwater to the outside of the canvas lodge, the side panels were designed to fit to the outside of the posts, cover the wooden sill and drop over the outside of the brick wall.
The canopy and side panels were manufactured in textured taupe PVC fabric. This high-quality outdoor fabric is fire retardant and has a superior textured finish to give the appearance of natural canvas. Complimenting the taupe colour of the canopy, the client chose a black powder coated finish for the steel brackets.
A lot of detail has gone into this project and we’re absolutely delighted with the outcome.
